We Catholics have the custom of remembering the dead at Mass. I will certainly remember Johann Christoph at Mass this Thursday and will pray for the Bruderhof Community.

My Sincere Condolences To The Family.

Living near the Bruderhof, I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting Johann Christoph Arnold and members of his family on different occasions. His family and community are perhaps the most loving and welcoming people I have ever met. The "event" that speaks most to my heart was the loving service this community held for Charlie Simmons a few years back. Such a fine upstanding member of the community, who taught, and will continue to teach, many lost values of our current humanity. He will be missed by so many.

We will very much miss Johann Christoph Arnold. I had the pleasure of meeting him on several of my trips to the Community. My family has been comforted by his many books giving us comfort during times of loss and sadness.
