Not sure what to say?

Joanie & Lester were my second parents growing up. By far one of the sweetest couples I have ever met. Mom & Dad used to drop me off way before sunrise in order to make the trek to Cincy for dialysis. Joanie read to me and made me feel so comfortable. I always loved her sweet calm voice. My deepest sympathy goes out to Karen Kathy & Jeff, but especially to Lester. May you all find peace knowing what a gift your Mom brought not only to the Cahill's but to the entire St. Henry community. ...

In loving memory of a wonderful lady. Joanie was such a caring person and also a very fun lady. I always enjoyed working with her at the blood drives. I also had the pleasure of being an altar rosary officer with her. We have a lot of good memories cooking the funeral lunches together. Rest in peace❤

Uncle Lester, Jeff, Kathy, and Karen: You have my family's deepest sympathy. My heart is heavy for all of you, but I hope you find comfort knowing how many people's lives were touched by Joanie. Everyone of our kids knew great Aunt Joanie, remarked how sweet she was, and were always amazed that somehow she knew their names too. I am proud to say she was my godmother. My Confirmation name is Johanna, and it has even more of a special meaning to me now; makes me want to strive to be as good...

To Lester, Jeff, Kathy, Karen and your families,
Jane and I would like to express our most heartfelt condolences to you at the loss of aunt Joanie. Most remembered will be all of the Christmas parties beginning at homes of uncles and aunts and evolving into St. Henry church basement as numbers grew. Always a comforting voice and calm demeanor, she was so easy to converse with. With much gratitude from the Ivo and Jean family, you Lester and Joanie helped us deal with moms' own health...

I cannot even express how much she meant to me thru the years. Lester and Joanie have been my second set of parents for the last 29 years. ❤

She was so kind, smart and oh so funny. She could always make me laugh... she made me a better person for knowing her.

Thank you God for giving me two amazing mothers ( I lost my mother in February this year). I treasured them both and now let them Rest In Peace and the perpetual light shine upon them.
Love...

Bruns Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. Joanie was such a sweet and caring lady. May she rest in peace.

Aunt Joanie was such a kind and beautiful lady inside and out. She always seemed to have a smile on her face that was so genuine and made you feel better, even if you were sick at the doctors office.
Lester, Jeff, Kathy and Karen......we are thinking of you and your families at this difficult time. Hugs and prayers to all of you. God Bless ❤

To Uncle Les, Jeff, Kathy, Karen and families. We will certainly miss our "Aunt Joannie". We have many years worth of good memories involving all of you. It always amazed me how she could remember so many of her nieces and nephews birthdays and even wedding anniversaries. Her "beauty" shone through in everything she was involved with and I distinctly remember her "beautiful" penmanship, too. I could always recognize her handwriting and she never just signed a card or note but...

Lester, Jeff, Kathy, and Karen, Joanie touched many lives in her life, especially our family. I remember my mom walking over to Your house frequently with one of us to check out an injury or what felt like a huge bug in our eye! Thank you, Nurse Joanie! Your mom had the most beautiful voice and she would be singing in her kitchen as Kathy and I would read books on the garage steps. And I think there’s a picture floating around here of Jeff, at around six years old, playing dress-up at our...
