Johanna Leitson

So sorry to her of Hanny's passing. What a life we all had on the "Block". All the Ladies of the block are together again!

We originally met Hanny through Al Goldberg while she was living in Ann Arbor. We shared many delightful times together, and the conversation and companionship was always great. After she moved to Oak Park, we would see her usually during the summer, something we all looked forward to. Whether we were talking about family matters, favorite TV programs or politics, Hanny was always warm and caring whether we were eating out at a neighborhood restaurant or at the rooftop dining at her facility,...

Hanny was a wonderful person & therapist. What a loss to all and to the greater community & society. My deepest condolences to the family.

Many years ago when I was a new social worker at Hurley Medical Center, Hanny took me under her wing and taught me so many things about compassion, patience and being a good listener. We lost touch once she moved to Ann Arbor but I will always remember her with love and appreciation. May her memory be for a blessing.
