Jo helped me teach free hand drawing at OLLI. She was always positive about her draings and every one elses' drawing. She let us see the paintings her trip to France inspired her to do.It was always a joy to see her. Frances Currie Byrd

Jo and I were friends at Bolton High and then room-mates at LA Tech. What a great friend! I was so blessed to have been a bridesmaid at her wedding and to have "found" her again after many years had gone by. Good-by, Roomie. I will miss you.

Always vivacious and fun to be with. A grand lady. We went to high school together and reconnected at our 50th reunion. FB kept us in touch a lot as well. Will be greatly missed.

Jo was a wonderful person inside and out! Always a joy to be around. So heartbreaking to hear she is no longer with us here on earth. However,I know she is walking side by side by our savior and watching over us. I will miss her smile , warm hugs, and cheerful laughter. Sending prayers for family and dear friends.

A friend since the 8th grade, I will surely miss knowing you're over there in Alabama just waiting on a new trip for us to think up. I'm so glad you had those happy last few years with Glenn. Thanks you for your friendship and your warmth. I will miss you tremendously, johannabanana.
