Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of working with Joanna when she was the Principal of Bridge Street Elementary School in Northampton, MA for eight years as Supt. of Schools. She was an outstanding Principal and person. She made many positive contributions to the school and community during her time at Bridge Street. She had a wonderful personality which was very beneficial in working with all stakeholders in Northampton. She was loved by her students, staff members, and her administrative colleagues. I...

johanna was one of the first people to contact me when i joined the feline diabetes message board after my cat Cleo was diagnosed and left untreated. If not for the help of the valiant people on the board, my sweet kitty would not have survived the week, i fear. Hoping before heaven Johanna made a stop to pick up all the sweet furries gone ahead & waiting at the rainbow bridge.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Johann's family. She was always a cheerful, person who was a "joy" to work with for many years with the Northampton Public Schools. I'm sure you will miss her.

Deeply sorry to hear of Johanna´s passing. She will be remembered fondly in her role as principal of the Murrayfield School in Huntington. She was for her support to all us us on the staff, as well as her warm rapport with the children.

Deepest sympathy goes out to Johanna´s family. She was a true leader in the field of education. The students always came first. She was admired and a great person. I learned so much from her at the Mass Migrant program. Sincerely , Jan & Gary Moriarty

Rip johanna.

Johanna was a great boss and a true mentor with a big brain and an even bigger heart. I feel so lucky to have been her friend. I will think of her every time I see a photo of her beloved PEI, hear a Gilbert & Sullivan melody or read a scholarly article about children´s emotional development. My deep condolences to her family.
