Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of your mom's passing Helene. Sending warm thoughts to you and the family.

Johanna Nielsen - what an icon of Sandy City. It has been such an honor knowing and working closely with this wonderful woman. I had the great opportunity of getting to know her through my association in the chamber of commerce and was blessed to gain a friend. Two of my children were given their first jobs working at Johanna's and I was so grateful to her for her willingness in giving them a chance. There is no other like her. Johanna, you were a hard working, most generous and sweet person...

Johanna and her family always treated me so well during the years I worked for them in the early to mid 90's. To this day I tell people my favorite job I ever had was being a cook at Johanna's Kitchen. Johanna would periodically send me care packages while I was on my mission that were full of jam's and cookies. These were acts of pure charity-- she had nothing to gain by taking time out of her day to prepare these elaborate and well thought-out packages (that I very much appreciated). ...

i remember in high school going to her restraute and eating luch everyday she is an amazing women she will be greatly missed shellyrae

When I told my mother of Johanna's passing and the celebration of her life you will have. She said "If my dad (Jack N) were still alive he would be there. He lived just up the road and spent many hours at the restraint. Maybe they had a reunion in heaven. Two old friend who had not seen each other in years. So sorry for your loss. With much Respect From The Jack N Family

To Johanna' Family
It saddens me to see the passing of a wonderful lady. My Mother and I got to know Johanna at her eating place on weekends. She always had a smile and welcomed everyone. I remember talking to her about her horse's and how much she loved to ride. May God be with her family.
