Studer, Johanna 99 03/08/1911 02/27/2011 Johanna was one-of-a-kind! She felt, "If there's a will, there's a way," and lived it. Like the song, she did it her way. She was always full of fun, life, creativity and a strong will. Born of Swiss immigrants, Josef and Emma Funk Koller, in Hillsdale,...

Not sure what to say?

Thank you to everyone able to celebrate my grandmother's life yesterday. The performances were wonderful, the stories funny and thoughtful and so many generously gave time to make a party she would have loved. I will miss her greatly but am comforted from all I learned about her from you and the care you showed.

What a beautiful lady, with a beautiful daughter.
I will always think of johanna as i look out my window and see the bamboo that delores helped me dig out of
her mothers yard last september.
~blessings to the family and all that
will miss Johanna.

Your memories mean so much.

Thank you for letting us know.

Dolores & Family

Johanna was very well known in the Swiss Community. As a kid I grew up helping out in her booths during the summer. When Johanna entered the room everyone new it. The love of dancing was always apparent even if it was on cardboard on the dirt. She was always ready to dance. When she got older she liked to watch the young ones dance. So close to 100 the things that she saw are amazing. Great Aunt Johanna Thank you for the memories and you heart of gold! You will be greatly missed!

Our prayers for comfort are with your entire family.

Johanna war so spezial und immer froelich ihre Lebendiges Wesen bleibt uns immer in Erinnerung Unsere Condolence zu der Familie von Johanna.

Johanna was a truly unique person. I had the privilege of getting to know her well as her tenant in an upstairs apartment in her SE Portland home. I learned, during that time, that the best way to win her over was to laugh at her, sometimes shocking, comments and jokes. I hope the entire family finds comfort in the knowledge that she lived a long and fulfilling life.

There are no words to express how we feel when we lose a loved one.

My thoughts are with you.
