Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace, John, and knowing Phyllis is with you, makes it easier for us to be "without" you -- but, you are here in spirit.

You are missed and remembered, and I know you are at peace. My husband Don joined you and I trust you will both somehow meet.

Dear Olsen Family:

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the honor of having Dr. Olsen as my professor many years ago at Canisius College. He was a wonderful man--intelligent, kind, gentle, caring, witty and a pleasure to be around.

My career began as a Spanish teacher; I now teach ESL to the inmates of Wyoming Correctional Facility in Attica, NY. I would have enjoyed talking to Dr. Olsen, as I'm sure he would have imparted sage wisdom and witty advice.

On a side note,...

The Williamsville Association of Retired Teachers, Administrators and Coordinators mourns the loss of our friend, our colleague, and our past president. John was a gentleman, a role model, not only for us, but also for his family, his church, snd the countless students with whom he had contact.

Love and peace to Laura and family. Dr. O's legacy endures not only in your family but also in those he touched at WEHS. - Craig Schroeder

John was a truly remarkable individual, who gave ALL to ALL. His enthusiasm, warmth, and kindness is an inspiration to all who met and loved him. Working with him through NYSRTA has been a gift for which I will always be grateful, and his memory and work he did will live on forever. Dear Phyllis, you are very special, and you and your family gave John unfailing love and this helped him through his difficult time of illness. May all the love you shared, the friendships you kindled, and the...

Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family . Allyson and Allan Vinik and Family

Dear Phyllis, our deepest condolences to all of you. I feel so privilege to have known and work with Dr. Olson he was not only an inspiration to me but also to my three children who graduated from WEHS. We will always have fond memories of him.

Hello Phyllis. We were saddened by the news of Jon's passing. He served as District Governor the year of our Presidency with the Rotary Club of Hamilton, and was most supportive and helpful. His musical talent, gentle nature, and caring spirit will be missed. He truly embodied the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self". We cannot be in Williamsville this weekend, but will be with you in spirit.

All our love
