Not sure what to say?

I cannot believe that it has been 5 years. I know you are watching down from Heaven and taking care of your family. May your soul Rest in Peace.

John was a good friend since the first day we met freshman year of college. He was a joy to be around with an infectious laugh. So many great memories together from college outings, rec sports games, road trips to the lake house, up until a few years ago meeting him and Brendan at Universal during the college visit tour. Diane, Brendan and Katelyn, you were loved dearly by John. I will truly miss my dear friend. Prayers and love for all of you.

Where do I begin? John was the light of so many lives for one thing. From the moment he was born all of us at Holy Name Hospital, School of Nursing (in his sister Rory's class rejoiced when he was born! He was our class mascot! We all adored him-and Rory, well she always brought to school dressed like Mr. GQ junior! Plaids were a major influence back in the day. All of us loved him then and will continue love him and all the precious Monaghan family who ALWAYS had room for any hungry...

We are deeply sadden to hear of the passing of John. Each time we met him & Diane, we were greeted with a big smile & a warm hello. I hope that God knows he took one of the Good Guys. I know, he is Resting in Peace. May God Bless his family.

John was one of my closest friends in college. We shared many amazing times in school and at the lake house. I’m sad that we lost touch but he will always be my friend. Prayers to his family.

Diane, Brendan and Katelyn, my deepest condolences. John was a special person who cared deeply about family and friends. I will miss hearing John weave his way through a story, making all feel as if they were there. Remember the smile, the laugh, and all the things that made John the special person he was. May your sorrow be lightened by the great memories and the many lives John touched.

Diane I am deeply sorry for your loss! Please except my condolences to you and your whole family! ❤❤

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My lifelong friend John Monaghan was much
more a brother than friend. John was the very definition of courage. I pray our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is preparing my friend for his eternal life with our Heavenly Father where we will meet again. God bless you and your family my Brother. Love John Westervelt.
