I would like to express my sorrow for the family in losing a really great guy in Mr. Fuhrbach. I got to know him by working with his daughter Joanna at Bennigan's Restaurant in Amarillo. She was so much fun to work with and now I know where she got her personality from. Jo, I'm sad for all of us, but blessed in having known him for a little while. I hope that your heart will cherish what a great man and father he was and that your pain will subside with ease soon. Kent Palmer.

Pat,
It was so nice to see you today and I really enjoyed reading this wonderful obituary. Mr. Casey's kind words are also a reminder of those who have served, and that was just one facet of John's multiple talents. He WAS a modern day renaissance man. How lucky you were to have shared 25 years together! Steve and I are here for you, if you need anything. Please take care.

Mr. Fuhrbach,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow servicemen stood ready to defend our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

What a wonderful person to have been privileged to get to know. John was a great friend and a mentor and I will truly miss his stories, jokes and time we spent together hunting and just enjoying our friendship. Our prayers are with Patricia, Chris, Jo and Kelly.
