John F. Leite

John F. Leite, age 53, of Stevens Rd., Swansea, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Diga (Mota) Leite. Born in St. Michael, Azores, the son of the late Joao & Maria (Espirito Santo) Leite. John enjoyed spending time with his children & grandchildren, being outdoors in his yard, gardening, cooking, camping, fishing and was the jack of all trades. John was the devoted father of Christine M. Leite (Chad), John F. Leite, Jr. (Amber) and Ashley A. Leite (Kene); caring grandfather of Austin, Ashlyn, Chloe & Jace; brother of Guilherme Carreiro (Anabele), Goretti Vasconcellos (Joao) and the late Vasco Leite (Albertina); and uncle of several nieces and nephews. John's funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 8:00AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM in Espirito Santo Church, 311 Alden Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family in John's Memory.
