Not sure what to say?

May eternal peace surround John; he will always be in my prayers.

I met John through my sister, Kathy, who worked with him at Marsh. He knew I was looking to adopt a child. Since he and his wife had been through the adoption process, he had his wife gather some brochures on the agency they used. When my son, Ryan, was two years old, I took him to visit John at Marsh. What a wonderful man John was. He had a beautiful smile and was always willing to help people as I am sure he was doing on that day he met his fate. When Kathy called to say John was...

My In-laws live in Kenilworth, I believe right behind you, on the other side of the fence. I didn't lose anyone that day, except for 343 brothers, as I am a firefighter here at home, but my life has never been the same since that day, that I don't think of how that has impacted so many, everyday !!
All our love and prayers !!!

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

In memory....

Another year has gone by but you have not been forgotten. All that you taught us and gave to us so freely lives on. You made SO MANY people feel so good here on earth. I can only imagine how many lives you touch as an angel. Thank you, again, for every smile and for every kind word.

Still thinking about you and how blessed I was to have known you. Your kindness is present in so many lives-- all of the lives you have touched.

I knew John when I was a young boy. I lived next door at 528. He always had a smile and a kind word, even if he was just getting home from work and his commute. I did not know until recently he was involved in this horror. I'm sorry. To his wife and children, he was a good hearted man.

To the family of a MOST wonderful man, John Tobin,

I never met him; but knew him through someone who did. I heard of the gem he was on this earth--always kind, helpful, generous in spirit--the BEST mentor.

May God be holding him in his arms and may you and yours be blessed Today, Tomorrow and Always! I will be lighting a candle and praying and driving with my lights on in remembrance!
