I just learned today of John's passing. We met John and Eleanor in FL, we too were a couple of snowbirds. John was a hoot, and we spent many days just listening to his stories, and listening to him do Neil Diamond at Kareoki nights, pot luck suppers drinking Moscato. Sweet, sweet memories. To Laura, we sent word out to VBK to let his many friends know of his passing. My phone has been pinging all day. Met John in the 20-teens down at Vero Beach Kamp in FL. Often holding a mug of coffee and willing to stop and chat. He loved music, dancing, and singing karaoke. He was also willing to lend a helping hand when needed. This world has lost another Shining Light !

I am one of his friends from coffee at DD at the lake. Our friends also include Carol and Joe . Donna and Julia and Nancy. We always had great conversations with John and Eleanor. John would tell us his stories from way back. Always very interesting. He will be missed at our coffee hour.
