You were there for me from the start and still there until the end. You were funny the whole way through and always brought a smile to my face. To Father Aherns Family, Father has been a part of my life since 1962-63 when he gave a retreat at Notre Dame HS for girls. Each time I was in despair he came to my parish. I have written him letters all my life but never mailed them. I prayed to him and for his help. He never let me down. I will continue to do so., May he rest in peace.
