To John's family:
I was struck to hear of John's death. I send sympathy to all his family and children.
I sang for many years with John with Tulsa Opera. He was one of my favorite people, and we got along really well. He was smart, funny, and talented, and a good friend. Regretfully, I had not seen him in a couple of years, except to see him in a couple performances.
I am so sad he is no longer with us. He was a great guy
