Dear Nobu, John, Esther and Patti,

Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. John was a wonderful guy (and he had a great family). I still remember him going to my Dad's garage and hanging out with him and Mas. I delivered many a car to Shakerview and John always did it right. I also remember the great times at the Kirtland clam bakes and the toys for Stephanie who now has twin 7 yr. old daughters. Dear Mrs Akiba, I hope that John Jr, Esther, and Patti don't mind my telling you that John was a second father to my younger brothers. Love you all!! We'd love to show you Colorado. Tony and Sharon

My Uncle John was a very good uncle and was very close to my dad. They would get together and talk all day long. As a kid, I remember running around the gas station all day, driving him and my cousin (John Jr.) crazy. Will miss you uncle. Condolences to the Akiba family.

Dear Mrs Akiba and Family. I just viewed John's obituary in the Plain Dealer; my heart was saddened. John and my father, Guido Sr. were real good friends in the day. Every time my Dad and I would visit John at Shakerview, we had Good times. Lots of memories there. John was a very special person to me, I am saddened by His passing. May God watch over You and your family.
