I am so sorry to recently be advised of John's passing. He was an awesome Black man who made north Hartford proud. The Northend newspaper gave the least of us a "Voice". We owe a great debt to John for having the courage to stand when others sat down. He allowed me to write several articles and I was honored to be in his presence. Another brother has moved on Rest In Peace.
