Not sure what to say?

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Johnell Sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. As pre teens Johnny lived down the street from my home on Hood Ave. I was very fond of Johnny as a friend and a Sigma Chi Brother. One of the most fun times CeCe and I had was at Beau"s home during the 1950 Sugar Bowl Holliday with you and Johnny Beau and Laura James and CeCe and me. Two of the couples made it into lasting marriage What a blast we had. I remember dancing to Papa Celestine at Beau's friend Gordan Saucy's house where Regal beer...

To Brookie, Brenna and The Allphin Family... May GOD strengthen you in this very difficult time. The only comfort in all of this is that he is in the arms of our LORD. GOD bless you all!

With our deepest sympathy in this time of your loss.

Johnnie-My family and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. He was a fine man and you have so much to be proud of. I didn't see him very often the past few years except at continuing ed classes but always looked forward to seeing him. May GOD bless you and your family at this difficult time.-Ben Downing & Family

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Our family would like to express our sympathies to Johnell, Brookie and Johnnie in this time of loss. John was a great person and I have fond memories of him and everyone in this family over the years. I know your are hurting now, but remember all the happy times spent with him and those are times you will always have to treasure.

Our prayers are with you, Beth and Randall Walters and family.

He obviously was a great, accomplished man who touched many lives. I know he will be deeply missed by especially his family but also the many lives he touched. The few times I met him I could tell he was a wonderful family man, always friendly and talkative. Heaven has gained an angel. We are praying for comfort in your hearts because of the loss of your loved one.
Love, Jeanne, Michael and Justin Maylon

To the family of John Allphin:
I first met John when we moved to Baton Rouge in 1958 and we soon became close friends working together in political and civic activities. We have remained good friends over the years. He was a wonderful Christian gentleman, dedicated to his family, friends, and community. I never saw John without a smile. We will all miss him but we have wonderful memories of him. You all are in our prayers.
