My condolences to the Alston Family for the lost of your loved one. It saddened me to open my newspaper to see this. I am a cousin and I do remember John from way back. My brothers and I use to call him, "Fifty". I thought of him often, Again, my condolences and may God keep your minds and hearts at perfect peace.
