David,Jan,Cheryl and family,
John was like a father to me, a godly man and an example of Christ's love. I know he loved his family very much, which showed in his devotion and support. He was an avid sports fan fan and I remember that he went to as many of our sporting events for Bluffton as he could. Like Ed Sindelar, John was very special to me.

Having known your family for so many years, I am so sad to hear of your Dad's passing. I always enjoyed talking with him at sporting events. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My early memories of John was that he was such a cheerful, sweet man. Though separated by miles, when I did get to visit him and Imogene in later years, he was still the same guy. John was my dad's brother-in-law. My condolences to all the family for their loss.
