Not sure what to say?

Ok dad. It is 1 hour before your birthday and I can't sleep. You have been gone a month and I still don't believe it is real. Everyone says remember the good times and I remember them all. The problem is there will be no more with you. You were my father, but you were also my best friend. It seems to be getting harder to let you go, but I will always have you in my heart. Everytime the phone rings I think its you. This is the last time I can make an entry here so happy birthday 1 more time. I...

Stacey, Thinking and praying for you and your husband and family at this very difficult time. Always there for you if you need anything. Stay strong!

Joe, Sorry to hear about John. We had a a lot of good times at the Donut Deli.

Was glad to have met John when his mom was a resident at Grayson House. He always had everyone laughing...brought a smile to all our faces. My deepest sympathy to "the boys" and his family.

JOHN & family,
Prayers for you at this sad time.Cherish all the good times with him.May he rest in peace.

As I sit here on the 1st of many 1sts to come without you, I keep waiting for the "happy birthday" call to come, knowing it is never coming from you again. I would give anything to hear your voice, your cough or one of your corny jokes. You raised me to be an honest respectful person and I never got the chance to say thank you. I hope you were as proud of me as I was of you. It will be hard without you, but I will do my best. Until we meet again.

Dad, as I sit here ready to start the 1st of many 1sts without you, i cannot believe you are gone. I keep waiting for the "happy birthday " call. Just to hear your voice, your cough, one of the corny jokes one more time. I hope you were as proud of me as i was of you. You raised me to be an honest respectful person and I never thanked you for everything you did for me. I love you...until we meet again.

I will always have the fondest of memories for John. He would always bring about a smile on your face no matter what. Always jolly and laughing. My heart goes out to you John as I know you and your Dad were so close. He will be missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
