Still missing you, John

I met John in a pathophysiology course after moving to Ann Arbor over 12 years ago. He was one of the most intelligent and profound individuals I have ever met. John- I am forever blessed to have had you as a friend. I will never forget all the wonderful and thought-provoking conversations we had about anything and everything. You have taught me so much about life and resilience. I miss you my friend.

We had the pleasure of meeting John on a warm summer day when we invited him for a cool summer drink along with his parents, our dear neighbors. He was a wonderful guest and conversationalist. We are sad about his passing but know he is in an even more wonderful place.

I had the pleasure of getting to know John while working with him at U of M. In casual conversations he had a way of asking or making such intriguing and thought provoking comments! Oh what a surprise when John & Charlotte walked in at a co-workers retirement party, only a few weeks ago! John's presence was such a gift! He touch our lives & will be greatly missed.

We would ride bikes for hours and made jumps out of plywood and bricks. We climbed trees onto his garage to pick...
