John Roland Anderson

John and Karen Anderson have been attending the LDS Kihei 1st Ward on Maui for years. They made many Maui friends over the years. I shall miss not seeing John at our Sunday meetings. My deepest condolences to Karen and her 'ohana. I hope she will continue visiting Maui with family members and friends in the coming years. I send my Aloha. Daniel Kanahele

I´ll miss John. I looked up to him as a straight shooter with a firm and sweet testimony of Jesus Christ. I enjoyed a round of golf and with Marilyn a lovely dinner with John & Karen and friends at their home in Maui. May God shine His love and peace upon Karen and all the family at this tender time. John (Geez) was a class act. One of the best stories goes like this: He had a short putt on the 18th hole I believe, to seal the deal. He missed the putt and blamed it on the clouds in the atmosphere, claiming they had moved, and that he had lined the putt up against the clouds and thus the miss. Played with him in Hawaii too. He was a good captain and will be missed, but well remembered.
