I was sorry to read of John's passing. I knew John when I was both a State Representative and a lobbyist. He was a true gentleman.

I worked with John at the Maine Municipal Association. He served as the Director of Intergovernmental Relations where he lobbied on behalf of Maine municipalities. The legislative accomplishments during John's tenure were significant. When John moved on to become the Executive Director of the NH Municipal Association he used much of his experience to build an effective program for NH municipalities.
