I worked with John and he will be missed and thought of every day. He always had a smile, a kind word, or some news about sports. He kept me up to date on all the latest events. He would do anything to help anyone. He was the kindest soul I've ever known and I feel it was my privilege to have known him and been his friend.

I knew and worked with you a long time, dear John. We had many memorable years together at both Delta Queen and the Supreme Court. What a beautiful write-up of a man I have never met but feel so connected to through these readings. As a nurse I know the gift of life to another is no small feat.
