Dear Joan,

There are no words to express the way that we feel. We are grateful for the opportunities that we had to share good times with you and John.

I remember John sitting in the chair in the living room of your house with the newspapers on one side and a large bowl of cherries on his other side. He did enjoy them.

Family was very important to John, and this was obvious. You were his "special" one; and, oh how proud he was of Dave, Ann and the boys.
