Not sure what to say?

John was one of the most important and influential people in my life. I am sorry this message is so long after John's passing, but I only saw this today. I started working with John as a young man of 28 years in 1975, and we spent four years together. I learned more from John about life and being a man than I can express here. He was a beautiful human being, and I miss him dearly. To Jean and the girls I am so sad at your loss

I have wonderful memories of the best BOSS I ever had

Although it has been many years since I've been with your folks, seeing John's photo here brings back warm memories of the larger-than-life energy your father always surrounded himself and his family with. Passionate, effusive and so devoted to family, your dad was for me the model of old-world values brought to the new-world of Clarence. I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to paddle around the edges of his "wine-dark sea". Much love to you all. Wendy Baer - Boston, MA

John's Family,

My Father, Leo Welsh, thought the world of John and enjoyed his company in both the professional and personal realm as "just being a great friend." In my times around John he was always happy and always fun and loved his family very very much. Have not seen John since my Father passed, but when I have thoughts of my Father, and because of John and my Father's friendship, John becomes part of the thought.

I am sorry for all of John's family at this time,...

John was a great colleague and friend, always available when his advice was sought. Haven't seen John n a number of years but know that he had a huge impact on healthcare in WNY. A huge loss for his family and friends. Peace to you, big John.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our Apostolakos cousins. John was our mother Antigone's favorite of all the cousins. We loved him and always enjoyed being with him. He will be missed. His memory will be eternal. All our love,

Jeannie and Family. So very sorry. One of my life's favorite people. Very generous and loved his family above all else. RIP

Very fond memories of one of my favorite people.
Dr. Guy Alfano

I did not have the privilege of knowing him personally but judging from his family, he was an absolutely splendid man! Tom and I send our most sincere condolences to his family and friends. Eternal his memory and life.
