Not sure what to say?

Everyone of us who had the honor, privilege, and pleasure to call John Appleton "friend" have an empty spot in our lives that we will fill with precious memories of him. We have all been the recipient of John and Debbie's kindness and generosity in so many ways. John "adopted" my son SPC Zachary Miller during the year that he served in Iraq with the US Army. To my friend Tracy and Appleton Family, I am very sorry about your sudden loss. I wish for you healing and peace of mind. Love, CM

Dear Deborah, Katie, Tracy, Stephen,
I'm saddened by the loss of your husband and father. The "Lodge" just won't be the same. I'll miss his laughter, the intensity of his physical pursuits, his love of "being up north". May your strong family values and faith in the Lord carry you through this difficult time. My love and prayers are with all of you.
Love,
Dar

Dear Deborah, Tracy, Katie & Stephen:

My sister, Birgitt, has shared with us how wonderful you have both been to her and your Christmas letters with great affection. I met you both briefly but felt we spent an eternity together through your letters. I mourned Johns loss as if he were part of my family. Thank you for being the people that you were together and who you will be now that you are without John. You are a very...
