Not sure what to say?

Well, John, I guess I've waited long enough to share my sadness at your passing. It may have been foolish, but, during your illness, I always believed that you would recover. It was inconceivable that you would not.

So now I look back over the years that we worked together with great gratitude and pride. I couldn't have had a better friend, a finer teacher.

Joan was so right when she said that you made everything fun! You loved what you did and that enthusiasm was...

I can't believe it's been a year. I still expect to see you walk through the reception doors like you always did and say something to me in Italian! It definitely isn't the same without you here! You and your family are in my thoughts this day and I pray that they are remembering all the wonderful memories they had with you. You are truly missed Mr. A !!

We miss the red vest.

I moved to this area about a year ago and had the opportunity to play softball for Farrell Fritz during this past summer. Upon one of the sleeves of our team jersey are the letters "JMA". At a late-season team dinner, I had asked what these letters stood for and I received the story of this man, and several accounts from different people on how he had touched their lives in such positive ways. I didn't know him, myself, but he obviously meant a lot to a lot of people, and lived his life...

BECAUSE I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality.

We slowly drove, he knew no haste,
And I had put away
My labor, and my leisure too,
For his civility.

We passed the school where children played
At wrestling in a ring;
We passed the fields of gazing grain,
We passed the setting sun.

We paused before a house that seemed
A swelling...

Mr. Armentano was a smart yet kind person. He was completely available to anyone who needed him. I know he was an accomplished attorney but I will always remember him as an amazing human being and friend.

You are in my thoughts today Mr. A! I pray that you are having a wonderful feast! Happy Birthday in Heaven!

To the Armentano Family,
My sincere sympathies on the loss of a wonderful man. I left Farrell Fritz over 4 years ago and was stunned to hear about his passing. I worked with Mr. Armentano on assisting with his many environmental seminars. All I can say is that he was truly a mentor for me. He had me look at things in a different light and his smile and laugh was illuminating. I never felt apprehensive about approaching him for anything because he was always so endearing and human. I...

I am shocked and terribly saddened by John's passing. The entire municipal legal community feels his loss. He was a giant in his field and a true friend to local governments. As a person John was both bigger than life and down to earth. His presence will be deeply missed. My sincerest sympathy to John's family.
