WOW, How sad I am to know that I won't be able to buy ur books anymore.... you John was one of the most fabulous an outstanding teachers that I knew at Keokuk Senior high school. He was truly an inspiration to me especially every morning when I would come into the school and want to see your smiling happy face to greet all of us kids. I was the first of my family to have John as a teacher, and he is by far my favorite teacher/person of my life. Truly inspirational, and both of my daughters and one of my nephews also loved him. He will be missed.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Artman. Without a doubt my favorite teacher of all time. Images of man, my favorite class of all time. He was inspiring, charismatic, and compassionate. The world is a better place for having had John Artman in it. Godspeed.

As the world has lost a great man, Heaven has gained a great soul. Mr. Artman was my favorite high school teacher. He was funny, kind & always knew what to say when I was struggling in class. May God bless the ones he left behind that we may join him someday.
