Not sure what to say?

Ms. Jean:
I am so sorry we did not know about Mr. Ashby's passing last year. I just learned about it yesterday from Charles across the street. We have been so totally involved with caring for my 93 year old mother, and have not been able to visit with neighbors as we would like.

I remember with joy, the visits you and your family would make to our house to sing Christmas Carols.

I just noticed the "for sale" sign on your home yesterday. I wish you comfort, health...

Jean,
I am so sorry we did not know about Bro. John's death until recently. Thank you so much for calling to tell me.
We loved him so much. He was such a gentleman with such good manners. He was also a wonderful interim pastor to Salem Baptist Church. We will never forget you or him.
May God bless you as you continue on without him.
Love, Dixie Suthard

Dear Jean,
I am so sorry to have missed Brother John's homegoing. Those of us in Madisonville only heard of his death recently (today 3/5/09). I was surprised and saddened when I heard of the news shortly after New Years when Dixie Suthards forwarded the information to me that he had passed away 6 months prior to Christmas. I truely enjoyed working with him at LBBA. Everyone that knew him liked him. He enjoyed being around people and that drew people to him. I will always charish the...

Jean: I have just learned of late about the death of John. Many at our Ex. Board Meeting did not know about it. I appreciated my friendship with both of you. Love, Hughlan

Jill and Charlie send their best to the Ashby family. We are honored to know John's son Ken, and we imagine that John must have been a magnificent man in that he raised such a lovely son.
Sending love and hugs~

Most of what I know of Reverend John Ashby has come from my friendship with and observations of his loving family in Williamsburg. What an incredible legacy- surely his spirit is evident in the intelligence, kindness, and creativity of this remarkable family! My condolences to Mrs. Ashby (also responsible for the legacy) and to the entire extended family......Warm Wishes to All,

To The Ashby Family,

So sorry to hear the news about John Ashby - grandfather, father, husband and man of the community. Our loss here but a huge asset to those helping us in their greater roles as they enter that very special life far beyond life as we know it.

Our Love and Sincere Condolances......Pat, Cindy, Paul and Alana Murphy

Unfortunately, distance didn't allowed us to spent more time together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
You will always be in our hearts.
Love, Kaylee and Jorgelina.

The life of the clouds is separation and encounter, tears and smiles..so, the soul is separated of God and walks in the world of the matter, then passes which cloud over the mountain of the sadness and the valleys of the happiness and later, upon being found with the winds of the death returns place of origin to the sea of the love and of the beauty.....to GOD !...
My deepest sympathy....Alicia
