Not sure what to say?

I took a business course from Mr. Atella around 1970. He taught me so much. I still have the textbook from the class, and I still refer to it.

Very sorry to hear of John's passing. He was the first true runner that I came across in my training days for my first Harrisburg, PA Marathon. I often would pass John on training runs through the Milton Hershey School Campus. I was able to run a few miles with him during one of the Harrisburg Marathons and shared thoughts about his daughters who I knew as a teacher/coach at Hershey High School. He was inspirational, indeed!

So sorry to hear of John's passing. I knew John as a fellow student at Hershey Junior College and a colleague/friend at HACC. Students loved him as a professor and his classes in accounting filled up first. He will be missed by his co-workers, friends and students. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Charles Fahnestock, Senior Emeritus Professor of Mathematics/Counseling at Harrisburg Area Community College

I was deeply deeply sorry to hear of Johns passing. I didn't think this would happen. My deepest sorrow to you all. I was happey to know that I've seen him and took pictures the last time you were here.
