Maggi: GONE TOO SOON. I am shocked and saddened for your loss. My friendship with John goes back to our group bike rides, memorable conversations at my store and of course, the bike shows he helped us with at Open Square. May he rest in peace. Harry Craven................

I met John when I went for a meal at Open Square years ago. John reminded me of my father--someone interested in others--and we chatted for a bit making the lunch more memorable. He sure was a visionary. I'm very sorry for your loss.

John will forever be remembered by my Mother, Elba Hernandez. Though I don´t remember much of him because I was so young, I feel like I knew him so personally through my Mother´s recollections of their college friendship. He will be forever missed in his industry and was way ahead of his time in industrial development. I know he is where he needs to be. - Eliana Jolie Burkard, Elba Hernandez

Single Memorial Tree

I do not know you, but I lost my companion of 17 years very quickly to a rare cancer as well. I know how you are feeling right now, and I am so sorry for your loss. May God Bless you all.

John, My very cherished customer who I also considered a friend. I am deeply saddened by your loss and my condolences go out to your entire family. We worked together for many years, and to call you my best customer is an understatement. "Best" in this case meant trusted, easy to work with, reliable, intelligent, funny and pleasant, and an altogether wonderful human being. My life was enriched to know you and I consider myself extremely lucky. Rest in peace dear John, I will always miss you.
