John H Aughe

It is with great sadness that we announce John H. Aughe gained his angel wings on October 23, 2023. John was born on November 6, 1933 in Anderson, MO to Ernest Aughe and Margaret Dale. 

John married Charlene, the love of his life 58 years ago and together they raised 7 children and fostered over 300 children. John worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in both California and Wyoming for 43 years before retiring in 1994. He also served in the US Army as a part of his Military service. 

John was a great man with many interests. He was actively involved in his community and became a board member for Pop Warner Football. When football season ended he could be found preparing the helmets for the next season by removing the decals. He also loved working on cars and fixing things around their home; he always had something new to work on or tinker with. He enjoyed exploring the desert, camping, and fishing. 

John is preceded in death by brothers Robert and Eugene Aughe. He is survived by his beloved wife Charlene as well as their children: Samanthia Porter (Mike), Debbie Lombard (Mike), Carol Johnson (Gary), Mark Aughe (Michelle), Crystal Stubblefield, James Aughe, and Elijah Aughe; and grandchildren: Mark, Terina, Frank, Jon, Laura, Caden, Logan, Megan, Cheyenne, Emily, Christopher, Nathaniel, Rebecca, Aiden, Noah, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of life will be held at 2140 Trails End Fallon, NV on November 4th at 1pm to celebrate John's life and legacy. 

We are deeply saddened by this loss but our hearts are full knowing that John's memory will live on through all those he touched throughout his life.
