Not sure what to say?

I am blessed to have met Mr. Ayers. He truly was a fine man and a fine role model to us all. I always enjoyed his smile and his kind words when I would pass him in the halls of Hilltop Junior when I worked there in the 80's. Blessings to the family that he leaves behind.

"I had Mr. Ayers for a math class at Hilltop Jr. High back in 1985". He was one of my favorite teachers. Something about him that drew you to him. He was a straight shooter, you earned your grade in his class. I am deeply sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayer's are with you.

Charlene, You and John have been very important in your friendship with our family for many years. When my mother passed John was there to organize the music and have his nephew Chris sing at the service. But most important he was there as a FRIEND Bill and Marta Morrison

I had Mr. Ayers for a business class at Hilltop Jr. High in the early '80s. He was a favorite teacher of mine. I know he will be missed. My thoughts are prayers are with everyone whose lives he touched.

Dear Charlene and Family, I had the privilege of being on the faculty at Hilltop Jr. High with John for many years. I enjoyed working with him. He was a very good man and I know you will especially miss him. Our prayers are with you during this time of transition.
Sincerely, Richard Paff

Mr. Ayers was a teacher of mine at Hilltop Junior High, back in the early '70s. I remember him as a kind and witty man, a good teacher, and one who left a lasting impression on me.

I'm saddened to hear of his passing, and give my condolences to his family.

Julie (Wulff) Phair

Dear Charlene, I will miss John's quiet and practical ways. He was always such a calming influence on all who were around him. Much love to you during this difficult time.

We will miss John (Mr. Ayers) and recall him with fond memories as friends from church and as former students:

Maxine Johnstone, whose children Phil Johnstone and Karen Johnstone Shine were students of his at Hilltop Jr. High, and Karen's husband, David Shine, and their son, William Shine, who also had the pleasure of being taught by Mr. Ayers as a substitute teacher at St. John's Parish Day School.

Dear Charlene, I am so sorry to hear about John's death. He was a dear man and I know he will be missed very much. I cannot attend his memorial but you will very much be in my prayers. Blessings,
Allisyn
