In continued memory and appreciation of Doc Ayres.

Remembering Dr. Ayres with a warm heart and smiles. Always a story about his family and his faith and his many doggie stories. A sweet neighbor and twinkle in his eye. Miss you Dr. Ayres. Hugs, Maria and Andy Supa

C.A. My condolences for the loss of your dad. I remember his visit to D.C. back in the 80's, and vividly his dedication to Ireland and the Irish. God Bless. You are in my thoughts.

I have so many great memories of John hosting family lake parties. I have a great photo of the tiger from the zoo.
John and Annie two special people that always made my summers growing up back East to much fun.
I know John is looking down on us and lovingly watching over all of his family.

I was so saddened to hear of your loss.Dr. Ayers was an exceptional man of great accomplishments. I especially remember John as as a good friend and loving father to his family.

My most sincere sympathies to the Ayres family. There will NEVER be another like Dr. Ayres. He was a wonderful human being. I learned so much of the veterinary profession and life in general during our lunches. I will always cherish the time that he was able to spend with me.
R.I.P. colleague.

My father also had bird dogs but my father did not bother the good doctor with smaller patients. If I remember correctly, my father and the Dr. would ride to Unadilla every Wednesday evening for the horse auction. I do not believe either of them bought a horse. Dr. Ayres was a very good person. The world has lost another good man! I will keep the...
