So many grateful memories when thinking of John. He remains a bright spot in a very difficult period of my life.

I am so sorry to hear Dr. Balcarek is no longer with us. I had been one of his patients years ago. I have always been so grateful to him for the skills and devotion he so diligently pursued. I will always remember him fondly with a grateful heart.

Such a wonderful doctor and friend !he educated and really care about how to manage my health. Dr B will truly be missed,no one can replace dr B ,he was defiantly born to be a Dr,But sadly taken too soon .rest in peace Dr B..

His laughter was contagious! We'll miss you John, The hair of dog gatherings will never be the same... RIP.

John was an excellent scientist with an intuitive insight into issues, a respected physician and a special co-worker, but most of all, he was a dear friend.
