Read MoreI loved my Uncle John very much. He always made me feel special. When I was going through a difficult time in my life he and Aunt Marge were in Portland visiting Mom and Dad. We sat up late in their motor home and he gave me the best advice and great encouragement. I will always treasure that time. I loved him and will miss him very much.

I, along with Diane (Beisser) McDonald,worked for John at Fireside Commercial Life Insurance for several years. He was a great boss and well respected by all of the insurance agents and managers. Enjoyed planning/attending managers meetings, Christmas parties which Marge would also attend. It was fun for sure. Remember to the smell of his pipe tobacco.
