Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you today Mary Ann. John was a very special man. He is surely in heaven praying for all of us!

Thinking of you Mary Ann. John was a great man and we know how much you miss him. Blessings to you and the family on this anniversary of his passing.

We think of John often and know he has left a big hole in a lot of hearts. May God bless you Mary Ann and all of the many family & friends who miss him.

6 years now. We all still miss you and talk of you often. This photo came up yesterday of 7 years ago. John is on the left, Robert Serio on the right. In the 1960's John was responsible for Robert getting into reenacting by being in a magazine with his family. Robert got to meet John in 2013 for the first time. This was the last time he saw him. This was the last time John played his accordion in camp. We had a great time. We will never forget him.

John, you've been gone 5 years. We all miss you every day and still talk about you. You were a important part of my life and a great friend. I miss talking to you and sitting around the campfire listening to you play the accordion. Life has a hole in it that your absence is hard to fill.

We are so glad to have known John. He was one of a kind! -Carol and Dave

John was a living history participant at the park and he will be sorely missed. He told me how especially happy he was that he was on the battlefield this year - at such an historical event - the 200th commemoration. John's presence during the bitter cold that weekend was truly...
