Not sure what to say?

Our family have the Barber family and relatives in our prayers and we give our deepest sympathy for your loss.

John was one of a kind, the best guy I've ever known, honest, hard working and a loving father. His stories about flying always peeked my interst. His adventure for life was astounding, yet he approached life very simply and unassuming. What a man! His restored aircraft was a masterpiece and I am proud to have recent pictures of John with his legecy. Iva June and family is...

Aunt Iva, Maryanne, Judy, and John,
I have so many memories, dating back to the early 1960's backyard picnics in Great Falls, to the weekend spent with Uncle John in Omaha (was it '75 or '76?), and my later visits in Huntsville. He was a truly kind and gentle man, and I shall keep his smile in my heart and memory. Our family here will have your family there in our thoughts. PATRICK & FAMILY

Dear Mrs. Barber and family,
I met John when he was an inspector for Boeing and I was working
for a small business in Hartselle named Bramlett Electronics. We all came to love and respect Mr. Barber as it was impossible to be around him without feeling that way.
I was in your home one time and was taken with the O'Keefe and Merritt range you had. I am truly sorry for your loss. He will be missed

Ivy & Children,
God Bless each of you during this time of greif. Yours and John's memory has lived with me all these years. Again, God Bless.
