JOHN BARKER

I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. I just heard at the funeral of another former YMCA employee, Elaine Helm. John was an inspiration to us all at the Y. He had just the right words when we were frustrated or annoyed at a particular situation. He was friendly and caring with all the members. A phrase I remember him saying often was that he didn't work for the Y, he worked for the Lord. God bless. Susan Jones (former YMCA employee)
