Remember this smile from the Rockwell Days in the 80's.

My sister, Peggy, met JB at The Oaks at Liberty Grove. They quickly became best friends'. My sister has early onset Alzheimer's but is still pretty with it. She says she became JB's pusher. In return, he would bring Peggy chocolates. They took trips to Walmart & would sit for hours on the porch watching cars go by. I call Peggy twice a day. We wrote your name in the sky but the wind blew it away.
We wrote your name in the sand but the waves washed it away.
We wrote your name in our hearts and forever it will stay.

We honor a life that was lived to the full, we honor a spirit, now free.
You'll long be remembered, whenever we say:
Fair winds and a following sea!

Rest in peace, John. I will always remember John's support of veterans which rekindled memories of my father who died while serving. Because of John and others, the Rockwell Collins Military & Veteran Resource Group (MVERG) was formed. Many veterans in our company were appreciated more because they became more visible and were acknowledged for their service in the military. Veteran and patriotic holidays were extremely rewarding to many. May God bless John, on this day, Veteran's Day 2019,...

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Rest In Peace, my Navy Brother. Thanks for putting up with me at NAS.
