Not sure what to say?

I went also went to Salpointe with John and remember playing basketball with him and his engagement in many other areas such as the senior plan "Ever Since Eve, the Sodality and an Officer for all the Club activities. We would see each other occasionally through the years, but I regret not nearly enough. I too remember his great smile and wit and good nature to everyone. Praying with the family and remembering the good times.

Joyce, Lisa, Tim, and Patrick. I was so sorry to hear of John´s passing. He was my mentor and a dear friend, I learned so much from him. He loved you guys so much and was proud of all you. You all are in my thoughts and prayers! Mitch

Joyce, Dan and I were so sorry to learn of John's passing. Kathy Foster

Wish I had had an opportunity to know and meet John. Not only is your resume very impressive, but I am curious if we may be related. My great-grandfather, William Tell Barkley born in PA and who passed young in Peoria, IL changed the name from Barkley to Barclay. There may be a family resemblance also.

Joyce, So sorry to read about John. We enjoyed having you two as across the street neighbors. Dave and Kris

Sorry to hear of John's passing. We were students at Salpointe. I remember him as a nice guy. My sorrow joins with his family at this sad time.

Pat, your dad´s obituary is beautiful. He sounds like the kind of man that will forever live on in his family´s hearts and actions. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Thank you for taking the time to read the obituary for my father John Barkley. If you are moved to make a donation in his memory please don´t buy flowers, do something nice for a stranger or make a donation to TMC hospice. Thank you, Patrick Barkley

The Salpointe Catholic High School community extends deepest sympathy to John's family and friends. You are in our prayers at this difficult time.
