To the Barks family , no words are ever appropriate just know that you are thought of . Randall was such a grand and gentle friend way back in the 70's , what a great family. My name has changed but I think of alot of good times and not so good times at the Fort. (D A's ex wife)

When I was still policing in Spanish Fort I would stop by Papa Johns every morning and have a cup of Coffee (or three) with Donnie Perkins (Guitar Man), John Barks, Fred Johnston and Harry Harris. Very fine gentlemen, each and every one. We would talk politics and the state of our small town. It was frowned upon by some administrators in our fair city but I would not trade those mornings for anything.
