John E. Barlow

Your father was the best. My home room teacher. When I became a paraprofessional many years later he was still at Duggan. He will be remembered.

In the late 50's, Mr. Barlow was my social studies teacher at Duggan Junior High where he instilled a love of history within me. He taught me more than just facts. He taught us all the importance of being part of a community and giving back. I remember that he taught some of the boys in our class how to golf which was a sport they continued into adulthood. I reconnected with Mr. Barlow and his wife when I had their son in my class at Ludlow Junior High. My goal as a teacher was to be the type...

A friend and I were recently talking about Mr Barlow and how it was to be a student of his at Duggan. He wont ever be forgotten, may he rest in peace.

I was sorry to read about John Barlow's passing this evening. He was one of my teachers at Duggan Junior High School in 1959 and I really enjoyed being in his class. May his memory be a blessing. Allen Grosnick

I remember Mr. Barlow when he taught at Fairbanks Driving School in the late 60's. I was 16 and I remember him as a great teacher. My condolence to his family. John Somers
