Not sure what to say?

Although John has been gone for 3 years, I still think of him often when at church. He always was talking about the goodness of God in our class. He had a smile and usually a funny story about the present or past. He would be telling Crimson Tide stories if he was with us this fall. Roll Tide, John!

I dearly loved working with John. More than that he was a class act and a terrific guy. I've never worked with someone so positive. The world was a better place with John. Roll Tide!

He was always such a wonderful person. Always smiling, cracking jokes. He worked so hard at everything that he did. When my husband died in 2010, he was away on a business trip, so he sent one of his sons to Laughlin Funeral Home for the visitation. That was so sweet of the family. Then when he got back from the business trip he came to the house to visit me. He was telling me all the things that Ernie had done for him. I was so excited that he finally found a life partner, that he loved so...

I am so sorry to hear about Johnny. I remember a little boy running around in Sheffied, going to my daddy's store for candy. This is what he told me when I came to his mother's, June's, funeral. He was one of my great Barnes cousins in Huntsville. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jenni and the rest of your family. I send my love, Carole James

Eternal Friendship Remembrance Bouquet - VASE INCLUDED

Me and my family were members of WBC for more than 40 years and came to know John there. He developed an interest in my son, John Roberts. When we met he never failed to inquire about my John, where he was and how he was doing. He was an encourager, a people person and like by all who knew him. Go rest high on that mountain, John. You are greatly missed.

We are so sorry to hear about John. Our prayers and thoughts are with you Jenny and your family. May you have peace in the comfort knowing he is with his lord.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Our friend John was a gifted teacher and leader. We enjoyed his Bible teaching, stories, laugh, and faithful testimony... and Tide talk! He will be greatly missed.
