Not sure what to say?

He will always have a very special place in my heart.

We just found out about the passing of Fr. Jack, a year ago. When the Christmas card we sent him was returned, we knew something was wrong. It was a shock to read his obituary. Fr. Jack helped us during a very difficult time and went on to marry us and baptize all 7 of our subsequent children, some even after we moved to Virginia. He even baptized our 1st grandchild, and married our daughter at the University of Virginia's chapel. He was there for us whenever a bad or good situation...

We can't believe it has been a year since Fr. Jack passed away. He was a compassionate man who made a difference in so many lives. He is greatly missed by my family and I am truly grateful for his presence in my life. Rest in Peace Forever Fr Jack. We will always remember you and keep you in our prayers. Audrey and Tony Piscitello

Fr. Jack was a pure presence. Our family was honored to see how many lives he has touched. His work will continue on this earth even though he has been called home. Blessings to all of his friends and family.

I want to extend my condolences to your family. I was concerned today when I went to my parents grave site at St Roses and saw signs of a fresh intermittent next to my parents Madeline and Bill O´Brien. They were friends of your parents and used to joke about being forever neighbors. I go to the cemetery frequently and often find the basket of red roses left there. A few times I met Father Barron there and it was always a pleasure. Such a compassionate man. So very for your loss. Kathy...

Fr. Baron was an amazingly compassionate man and a wonderful priest. He saw Our Lady of the Valley through one of her toughest times. Thank you. Rest peacefully, Father.

Fr. Jack was one of those people who enter your life and immediately make a difference. His wisdom and humor helped myself and many others make it through some very difficult times. I will miss him dearly and know that he is in heaven with Msgr. Frey, Fr. Neil, Fr. Riley and Sr. Pat watching over all of us.

Always a pleasure to attend a mass said by Father Baron in Stone Harbor. His homily was always to the point. As a Bishop at a funeral I attended said, the greatest honor to have as a remembrance is the words, "He was a good Priest." And that was Father Baron! Rest in Peace

My condolences to all who know and love Father Jack. Will never forget his love and compassion and the spiritual support especially during the illness and passing of my sister-in-law Teresa. Cherish the priceless gifts of memories he leave with us. He is a strong spirit who will continue to love and guide us all the days of our lives. Already missed. RIP
