John passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018. John was a resident of Winchester, Virginia at the time of passing. He attended both The University of Notre Dame and The University of Maryland as a football star. In between attending University of Notre Dame and The University of Maryland John was drafted to the Navy. Private entombment will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Mr. Baron was a true gentleman and put up with me and my brothers when he coached with our father , Roy Lester. He lived a long life and will be remembered by all that he met , as a wonderful guy. He coached very well and taught more than football. God Bless you , Sir.
