He and Jan were such blessings to Melton Hood during his last years, making the trek from FL and AL to visit and take him to lunch, always with a yummy surprise in hand. I knew David when we both worked for the county. I remember him to be a true gentleman and always wanting to make decisions that were in the best interest of the county and his department. My prayers go out to his family and friends during this time of great sorrow.
