Dear Mrs. Bartels and Family:

We are so sorry for your loss. But what a party they are having up there now.

My deepest sympaties go out to Dr Bartels family especially his granddaughter Emily. My son Paul and her attended St Marks together. I am so grateful to him fo delivering the 2 most important men in my life. My husband David in 1959 and my son Paul in 1986. He truly was an awesome doctor. I along with many other patients will truly miss him.

Dr. Bartels also delivered my two children in the early 70's. He was the best doctor I ever had. I could never find another doctor that I could feel comfortable with. When I left the state other doctors could not compare to him. All the girls in our family were treated by Dr. Bartels. He was the best.

My deepest condolences on your loss. Dr. Bartels delivered my three children in the 70's and I always had the deepest respect for him.

To All The Bartels Family, I was sad to see the passing of Dr Bartels. I was a tech in the radiologists' office (Colvin Ave) when he first started there. He became my Doctor, so I saw him from both sides & he was always the same. Kind, easy going & you always knew he was coming, because he whistled all the time. I extend my deepest sympathy to all of you, at this time.
